Blue Water Yachts has the most experienced Macgregor Sales and Support Staff.  Between us, we have over 100 years experience sailing, selling, and servicing Macgregor sailboats, and over 150 years of boating experience.  We know our products, and we know every aspect of boating, including cruising, racing, and trailering.

We are MacGregor's largest dealer, we rig a lot of boats and have had the time and expertise to develop a large catalog of custom equipment specifically designed for the Mac 26.  Some dealers would like their customers to think that a "loaded boat" is one that has all the factory equipment or a few generic options.  In reality a boat with that equipment is a nice place to start, but not a really complete boat, and not much fun to sail. We have a unique personal relationship with the Macgregor factory; many of our design suggestions have been incorporated into their production boats.  In May of 2005 we began a long term project  working with Roger Macgregor to explore the maximum performance potential of the Mac 26M design,  this collaboration has resulted in "La Perla Noir", a one of a kind "Concept Boat"

Blue Water Yachts is one of very few Macgregor dealers who do all of their rigging and outfitting in house, this includes all electronics and engine installations (we offer factory authorized service for Suzuki and Nissan engines).  Our full service facility provides significant advantages to our customers.  We handle all warranty issues directly, whether it is an issue with the boat itself, equipment we have installed, or your engine, you will never be caught in the middle while your dealer and the guy he hired to rig your boat or install your engine are trying to blame each other for the problem.  We just get it fixed and get you back on the water.

Our experience and full service capabilities allow us to be one of a select few Macgregor dealers who are allowed to install 70 HP engines on the 26M without voiding your warranty.

We have a reputation around the U.S. and in many foreign countries for outstanding accessory knowledge, installation expertise and service; we have happy customers throughout the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), and Canada, as well as in, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Asia.

We sponsor the most active cruising club in the northwest, with fleet cruises for our customers to various Puget Sound ports.  We also host several instructional sailing events; networking with other Macgregor owners often yields invitations to join in on other events, both cruising and racing for experience and fun.

We offer comprehensive set up, tuning and operational instruction on delivery of a boat to our customers including an on-the-water lesson.

All Blue Water Yachts customers have access to our series of free boating seminars.  Seminar topics include, basic and intermediate sailing, navigation, winterizing, outfitting for cruising, as well as service and maintenance.
