MAINSAIL CONVERSIONS

Mainsail slides allow you to quickly raise and lower your mainsail by relieving you from having to feed the bolt rope up the slot every time you raise it.  The reduced friction also makes lowering a breeze, and makes it more convenient to store your mainsail on the boom.  Intermediate reef point is for sails that come standard with only one reef point.  As the wind picks up, you will want to reduce the heel of the boat but often won't want such a large reef, this option gives you the proper first choice.
