BLUE WATER YACHTS MACGREGOR RENDEZVOUS
JUNE 24TH -27TH 2010
PORT ORCHARD MARINA
Port Orchard is located on the west side of Puget Sound
nearly straight across from downtown Seattle behind Bainbridge Island. The
Harbor is very well protected and located on a bay, Sinclair Inlet, that
allows for nice day sailing and is directly across from the Bremerton Naval
Shipyard.
This year we are opening up the rendezvous to ALL MacGregor
owners, weather you have purchased from us or not. However, if you did not
purchase your boat from BWY the fee for the entire 3 days for your boat and up
to 4 people ( yes, including kids ) is $100 not including moorage which is paid
to the Port. This includes the non-refundable $25 reservation fee and as
well as access to all the seminars, on the water events, and BWY hosted morning
coffee, parties, BBQ dinner, Live Music, and door prizes.
We have reserved enough room for 50 boats. The first to reserve will have
individual slips with shore power. Those who purchased their boat from BWY will
have first priority for these individual slips. If more then 50 boats
register there will be plenty of room on a long side tie dock, some of these
slips will have power but some will not. You will pay the Port directly
for your overnight fees.
There is a $25 reservation fee, payable to Blue Water Yachts, either by credit
card or by check, this fee is non refundable and also covers the reservation fee
required by Port Orchard. Reserve early! Everyone who has registered will be sent an update after May 1st with
instructions for contacting Port Orchard Marina directly at which point you will assigned a specific slip. This is a VERY important step in this years
Rendezvous!
Fuel is available at the Marina. You may want to fuel up on arrival as on Sunday
the gas dock may not be open as early as you would like. There are small shops
in town to check out, some good restaurants and a mini market but no full
grocery store. Ice is available at the marina.
When you arrive, we will monitor VHF channels 16 & 68, let us
know you are about to dock and give your slip #, we can then help you tie up.
You can also reach us by cell phone at 206-498-5681 Check in at the moorage
office after you arrive. The reservation fee is only for your reservation, you
will be responsible for the nightly moorage.
Thursday evening reception planned on the Party Float at the end of the guest
dock. More details will
be available later, but expect lots of fun including seminars, pot-lucks,
sailing, BWY dinner and award night, movies and slide shows, and live music
again this year!
